Return Policy

All "Sale" or "Discounted" or "Bundled" or "Seasonal" or Items sold as "Last item or Limited stock" Items or "Handmade items are considered Final" . No Returns, No Exchanges via online or in the store locations. No Exceptions. This rule applies to ALL Apparel, Home Decor, Lighting and Furniture.

As a general rule, we have multiple categories that have different return/refund policies and they will be listed below, other wise, unless listed it will be considered a universal policy.


COUPON CODE PURCHASED ITEMS: Any full priced items purchased with a coupon code are available to return for store credit only, with shipping cost to the buyer. Any sale items purchased with a coupon code are final sale as listed above. No returns or exchanges will be granted for sale items. 

HOLIDAY/SEASONAL RETURN POLICY for Apparel Only: Orders placed on or between Nov 18th and December 24th will be eligible for return until January 15th. 
Holiday returns must be postmarked no later than January 15th. ALL OTHER LISTED RETURN GUIDELINES APPLY FULLY.

General Rule:

All items that are to be eligible for return must be sent to the store email address (Shop@thevintagephoenix.com)  and approved before you send your item back. Items must be submitted for return within 10 days of receipt date, (confirmed by tracking) and received no later than 15 calendar days from confirmation of return/exchange.  If you send your item back for return before approval or after the cut off. You forfeit the return option and your item(s) will be donated to a local shelter or charity. All shipping cost is your sole and universal responsibility to cover and will not be refunded or considered as part of a restocking fee or credits if eligible.

Items eligible for returns after approval is confirmed must be postmarked within 5 actual days of the Approval date to receive a refund. If not postmarked but sent after the 5 day period up to the 10 day cut off will receive store credit only.  Apparel items Item(s) must be unwashed, unworn, unaltered, be free of any stains, odors, or damage of any kind as well as animal hair, unopened, unused or installed and with the original sales tags on. We do not offer returns or refunds for buyers remorse or testing if items fit the decor. or items broken or damaged after receipt in your home or on your person. We also do not offer returns for items received and not brought to our attention with in the guidelines.  All other situations must follow the return policy fully.

Exchanges online for all apparel and home decor, require you to place a new order for the items you wish to exchange. This will ensure your selection is in stock before we have received your return. Please include the new order number for the exchanged item on the receipt you are sending back with the merchandise so that we can refund you correct amount and to the same payment method. Items purchased in store are subject to availability, however, if approved for exchange and there is not a selection available, an in-store/online credit may be given with limitations and the stores discretion be given only in the form of a coupon discount code or instore gift certificate.

After your return has been received, refunds or exchanges will be issued within 5-7 business days, though usually much sooner. 

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of all shipping Returns/Exchanges/Freight. It is fully recommended for you to keep your tracking label information. We will not reimburse shipping for returns or exchanges.


Apparel and Home Decor not exempt from returns/exchanges or refunds.

  • Damaged items are rare, as each item is inspected before shipping, However, in the event, this occurs. It is the policy for you to contact us first and provide detailed pictures and incident information to us before authorization will be granted. You will be sent an exact replacement and in the instance we no longer carry the item you will be given options to a replacement or a refund within the times schedule will be given.

For freight items, You are required to contact the shipping company to file a formal claim for shipping damage prior to our 10 day expiration and they will will contact our distribution office to continue the process. Unfortunately, Freight/large Van/Scheduled deliveries are not done by us and we are not part of the exchange from them to you. So this provokes an additional step to comply with the shipping rules. This applies strictly to our Freight items shipped.(ie. large items)

Specific to Furniture and Large Home Decor:

Furniture/Home Decor items, used items, installed, assembled or boxes open will be considered used goods and cannot be refunded for a full amount if eligible, and absolutely will not be accepted for returned outside of our standard 10 day return policy. All electronic, lighting, or large furniture will incur a restocking fee of 25% upon receipt and before a refund may be given if eligible and not opened from original packaging. All request for return after 10 days of purchase will be denied and no refund or/exchange/return will be authorized under any circumstances.

IN Store Purchases:

  • Items purchased in store are always considered AS-IS and considered final and not eligible for refunds or returns. Likewise items purchased via, Phone order, online alternatives like facebook, paypal or others will be given a standard pick up schedule agreed to by the store and the purchasing party, where as items left longer than 2 weeks, failure to make final payments on a layaway program, buyers remorse or any other condition other than picking up your items will be considered full abandoned and there will be no refunds, exchanges or returns and that item(s) will be resold.

Apparel Items and Accessories sold during a trade show or similar event, will be given grace of 24 hours from the purchase day on shows that we do not offer a dressing room option. Otherwise, your items are considered non refundable. However if we have a different size available, we will offer the trade for a better size from the same vendor and item if at all possible. It is your responsibility to bring that item back to us immediately or have it shipped after following the standard contact policy listed above.

Home Decor/Furniture items sold at trade shows typically are hand made and are not eligible for any form of returns or exchanges as there is only one of them.
